Countryside Inn Cortijo Rubiales

Cortijo Rubiales is a traditional rural house typical of the Spanish autonomous regions Andalusia and Extremadura. The house is located in the middle of unspoiled nature among the wheat fields surrounding the village Rubiales, home to around twenty inhabitants. The Cortijo offers full privacy and access to a large patio, garden and swimming pool and serves as an excellent place for a retreat away from the fast tempo and loud noises typical of the ever busy city life.

The peaceful city of Rubiales is located 25kms away from the nearest shops, ATMs, bars and terraces, which can all be found in the municipality of Llerena, a charming little medieval town.

This rural home can host up to 22 people inside of 8 spacious and very cozy rooms, full of history. Seven of these are double rooms, each one can accommodate additional beds if necessary.

There are 3 living rooms and two kitchens. While both have been recently renovated, one of these has been preserved to reflect a more traditional and rustic side of the Spanish countryside. It is an independent building next to the main Cortijo, which also includes access to a large dining area to fit all 22 guests, an indoor oven and chimney and several decorative antiques which enforce the same traditional atmosphere. 

The house has 6 bathrooms, 4 of the double rooms are en suite, and 2 additional bathrooms are available for shared use.

The history of Cortijo Rubiales 

Cortijo Rubiales was built in the 18th century and was originally the residence of a renowned local family, well known for their devoted interest and research in medicine and fine arts. 

The rural house has since been reconditioned on several occasions, most notably during the year 2000, when it became a family business as a hosting facility. In the beginning, Cortijo Rubiales only offered rooms accomodation. Thanks to the internet, the booming rural and eco tourism industry and the heightened demand for holiday rentals notable during recent years, Alquiler Feliz has been able to offer the full property for rent in 2017 when it took over the family business. Cortijo Rubiales is now entirely open to large groups of friends, colleagues and families at highly convenient rates.
